Ibelieve that courts must strive to set aside personal wishes regarding what the law shourld be or what an individual judge would like the law to be. Rather, courts must hold fast to their duty to interpret the law according to the intent of the famers of the Constitution and according to what the legislature intended the law to mean. Judges are not assigned the role in our consittution to "make law".”
