This November, when Ohioans go to the polls to choose their candidates for federal, state and local offices, we will also be asked to vote on several statewide ballot issues.  These ballot issues include four proposed amendments to the Ohio Constitution and one referendum:

State Issue 1 – Initiative & Referendum Petition Deadlines

State Issue 2 – Clean Ohio Bond Fund

State Issue 3 – Private Water/Property Rights

State Issue 4 – Mandated Paid Sick Leave – withdrawn by proponents on Sept. 4; will not appear on November ballot.

State Issue 5 – Payday Lending Referendum

State Issue 6 – Casino Gambling

State Issues 1, 2, 3, and 6 have all been certified by the Secretary of State’s office and are set to appear on the ballot.  The status of State Issue 5 is still pending.
